Somehow I missed the existence of the NYU Center for Advanced Digital Applications while I was in school. However, I have now had the opportunity to watch the DVD of their 2009 films (a surprising haven of 3d animation?). How come they can hand out free DVDs and our Tisch Animation Showcase can't?

I recently attended Tom Stathes Cartoon Carnival and had the pleasure of drinking Cucumber Raspberry Collins and watching "Minnie's Yoo Hoo" while everyone sang along in a vaudeville atmosphere.
